Indoor coaching
A climbing coach can assess your ability with an experienced eye and offer insight, introducing new techniques, exercises and/or a plan for development. If you'd like to learn the fundamentals with the support of a dedicated coach, or perhaps you've reached a plateau and want to make progress, a professional coach can be a good investment. We can create a one-off session or better still design several indoor sessions to accelerate your climbing. Always bespoke, for one or two people.

Start sport climbing (1 day)
Get ready for spring! This one day course can give you the skills for sport climbing outside, using the great facilities (and dry weather!) inside the climbing wall. We look at all equipment for climbing outside (including guidebooks, ropes, quickdraws, lanyards, clipsticks) and discuss safety top tips. With a series of practical drills, we develop good bolt clipping and confidence on a sport route. We examine a variety of sport anchors or lower offs, giving you a chance to use these skills at the top of a climb. Not forgetting some problem solving, so that you can retrieve gear if needed and get back down safely. At the end of the course, you'll have gained so much new knowledge and practiced a whole host of skills.
