While rock climbing, we can offer some coaching, but the main aim is having a good day out with others climbing in a beautiful place. The benefits of climbing outside for physical & mental health are amazing. You'll get the chance to have plenty of goes on the rock or just hang out with us at the crag. Afterwards we might find a good cafe or pub to re-fuel. Check the dates below.

​If you've climbed indoors a few times and would like to try real rock climbing, then join us. If you have had a long break from climbing and would like a nice day squeezing into your rock shoes again, this could be perfect. It's suitable for beginners with a little bit of experience and intermediate climbers.

You should be able to put on a harness, tie in and belay. We always manage overall safety, climbing single-pitch (short) routes on a top-rope.

(It's possible to hire equipment for a small charge)
*If the weather outside is really not suitable for climbing we will offer an alternative or go climbing indoors instead.

Test your nerves, see the world differently, feel the thrill of abseiling! With the help of a qualified instructor, you will build up to a challenging abseil, with the Lake District landscape for a spectacular backdrop. Hanging on a rope with air beneath you, this is an experience you won't forget!

1 DAY CLIMB & ABSEIL ADVENTURE
For beginners, a full day climbing in the Lake District giving you maximum goes, time for photos, great views, all instruction and equipment included. Try your hand at abseiling, with the safety of a qualified climbing instructor who will show you the ropes!

1 DAY MULTI-PITCH CLIMB EXPERIENCE
For serious adventurers, a day of multi-pitch climbing, scaling a bigger rock face with an experienced guide. The climbing is never too hard but you'll need a head for heights... This is an exciting day of rock climbing with amazing views.
Some previous experience of indoor or outdoor climbing is required (e.g. able to belay).
